AN INVITATION
TO GATHER TOGETHER
Each year since 1995, the Arizona Council of Grandmothers has gathered for renewal and inspiration. Due to the pandemic, we have elected to continue our gatherings in a virtual format. In doing so, we have discovered our heart connections develop and remain as powerful as ever. All women are welcome. We encourage those interested in attending future gatherings, whether virtual or in person, to connect with us for information on upcoming events.
Gatherings
AT OUR
WE BELIEVE WOMEN OF WISDOM HOLD THE KEYS TO EARTH'S TRANSFORMATION.
We come together to recognize, honor and uphold the Divine Feminine in each other. We believe our circles of connection create an energy that has a ripple effect out into the world.
For over 25 years, the Grandmothers have been providing sacred space for women to meet in small and large circles. We use Circle Practice as presented in Christina Baldwin's Calling the Circle and her work with Ann Linnea in The Circle Way. (Learn more at our Circle page)
Each gathering begins by forming a large circle that serves as a sacred container for our opening ceremony. The remainder of the time is dedicated to small circles, ceremony, workshops, movement, meditation, and other activities that revolve around exploring our Gathering topic.

We end each gathering with a closing circle to release the energy created during our time together, and to ‘bank the fire’ until the following year.

“It helps rejuvenate my creative spirit so I can continue to do the work I’ve been called to do”.
Grandmothers Nancy Masland, founding AZ Grandmother
The Elders Circle
The Elders Circle honors women age 80 and above. It is an opportunity to hear the elders share wisdom through their personal stories.
The Giveaway Ceremony
At the Gathering we have a Giveaway Ceremony where we each have an opportunity to share receiving and sacrificial giving.
Celebrating Self
There are opportunities for personal creative expressions and manifestation throughout the Gathering, often celebrated in our final evening together where many participate in a "talent show" during our ‘Celebrating Self’ evening. By ensuring we make a safe space to recognize and express our authentic selves, we find plenty of time and ways to laugh!
Healing Arts & Workshops
Special time is provided for workshops, lectures, drumming, yoga, music, and other healing arts presented by other attendees. Ample time for rest, meditation, and conversation is also offered.
LOOKING FORWARD
For the Future
For more information about our upcoming gatherings, we encourage you to join our private Facebook Group and sign up for our emails. You may also reach out to us through this website and we will respond as quickly as we can.

We are the Ones they’ve been waiting for.
We are the Light they’ve been waiting for.
We are the Truth they’ve been waiting for. We are the Love they’ve been waiting for.
We are the Peace they’ve been waiting for.
